My Ultimate Hangover Hack

My mom introduced me to these supplements during senior spring break last year and I have been obsessed ever since. Activated charcoal is known as an incredible absorbing agent which gives it the ability to detoxify the body. It works like a sponge— soaking up the a fair amount of the toxins from alcohol in your body. This helps cleanse various body systems which can lessen (or even eliminate) hangovers. *However, it is important to note that this might not work for everyone. Everyone’s body systems and reactions can be different. This is just something that works for me and might work for you.*

So here’s what I do: as soon as I get home from a fun night out with my friends, the first thing I do is take 3 or 4 activated charcoal supplements when I get home. It is imperative to take the activated charcoal as soon as you are done drinking so that the charcoal can get to work faster to decrease your chances of a bad hangover in the morning. Then I drink at least a cup of water afterwards to at least try and rehydrate my body a little bit!
